The ISIS Clone Of Facebook Has Already Been Shut Down
5elafabook–a social media platform created by ISIS–has apparently been shut down by Anonymous just days after it was launched. The short-lived site was replaced with a single image on Monday, a message written in English which claiming the shutdown is merely temporary. Meanwhile, Anonymous-affiliated accounts posted screenshots of the foundering site, claiming that they were responsible for its takedown.
A message posted on Sunday on pastebin.com, an online text dumping ground often used for communication between hackers, offered instructions for how to register with 5elafabook using network protections and fake email addresses. The post also warned that the cyberwar between Anonymous hackers and ISIS supporters is still raging, with no clear victory in sight.
