The Sand Museum, Japan’s only open-air museum exhibiting sculptures made of sand, is gaining popularity thanks to its sand sculptures of President Donald Trump, Mt. Rushmore, and other American images.

Produced by artist Katsuhiko Chaen, the museum exhibits different artists every year.

“We want to create an unprecedented creative man-made beauty here,” Chaen explains on the museum’s website. “And to excite and impress people who visit this site.”

Located in Tottori, Japan, the Sand Museum celebrates man-made sculptures alongside the famous Tottori sand dunes along the coast.
