Welcome to No Pants Subway Ride 2016, the day subway passengers ditch their shorts, skirts and trousers.

Sunday marks the 15th annual No Pants Subway Ride, an annual event started by Improv Everywhere in New York City in 2002. It has since spread worldwide, and more than 40 cities in 20 countries participated in this year’s chilly occasion.

The point is for participants to ride the subway without pants in freezing temperatures and act like everything’s normal, says Improv Everywhere.

Here’s a roundup of images from around the world showing people going pantless. You’ve been warned.
