Stats Prove It: Left Shark Won The Super Bowl (On Twitter)

Katy Perry starred in the halftime show and the New England Patriots won the Super Bowl, but both have been bypassed on Twitter by Left Shark. Yesterday the hashtag attached to everyone’s favorite dancing aquatic killer, #LeftShark, appeared more than #KatyPerry and #Patriots, the two other most popular tags coming out of the big game.

As you well know, Left Shark earned the love of an adoring nation and social media by doing his own (shall we say) relaxed version of his assigned choreography during Katy Perry’s halftime show.
