Can HoloLens Really Improve In-Flight Service?

Air New Zealand is testing out the Hololens on their flights. The headset overlays holograms onto a user’s environment. The airline sees it as a way to take customer service to the next level, tracking passengers food allergies and preference and recording when meals and drinks were last served. The headset also claims to be able to detect a passenger’s mood through visual and audio cues — but does anyone really want a device that confirms they look jet-lagged and tired?
