A mosque in Savannah, Georgia received a hand-written letter that praised Donald Trump and promised genocide against all Muslims, making it the latest in a string of Islamic centers to receive the vile, menacing message, according to reports.

Members of the Islamic Center of Savannah on Sunday said they immediately alerted police to the threat, which claimed the president-elect would “do to you Muslims what Hitler did to the Jews.” At least three mosques in California received identical copies of the letter, which was photocopied, over the last week, prompting national headlines and an outcry from religious leaders and advocates.

“Whoever sent these letters should know that they have only strengthened our resolve to keep practicing our faith, defending our rights and building bridges with our neighbors,” said Edward Ahmed Mitchell, the executive director of the Council on American-Islamic Relations chapter in Georgia.

Referring to Muslims as “the children of Satan” and “vile and filthy people,” the missive calls on them to pack their “bags and get out of dodge.”

“There’s a new sheriff in town — President Donald Trump,” the letter reads. “He’s going to cleanse America and make it shine again. And he’s going to start with you Muslims.”

Islamic centers in the California cities of San Jose, Claremont, and Long Beach all received the same anonymous letter over the last several days, the Los Angeles Times reported.  There have been at least 51 anti-Muslim incidents across the United States in the three weeks since Trump’s victory over rival Hillary Clinton, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center.
