You Can Now Tweet At Space Junk
There are approximately 200 million pieces of human-made space junk orbit the Earth, but only three are now tweeting live from space. The art project Adrift tracks 27,000 pieces of space junk in real time. Each time you tweet at one, it sends you an automated response about its current status in space. The pieces of junk vary in size, many smaller than a grain of rice and the largest as a school bus.
