A Los Angeles-based company has developed technology to take construction sites into the future. The DAQRI Smart Helmet puts augmented reality technology into hard hats. It allows workers to see and manipulate digital images, like architectural plans and work instructions, while on the construction site, Cameras and sensors tell the helmet exactly where to place the plans over the real environment.
