The Sun Just Destroyed A Comet
Please read the following aloud to yourself in your best impersonation of Werner Herzog’s voice:
The primal desire of life is to create, to continue itself through any means necessary. In the absence of life, the only outcome of nature is destruction, subsumption, death.
This comet was ripped from its path by the inescapable gravity of the larger body.
It stood no chance against the mass of its indifferent captor.
Just as we often find ourselves subject to the whims of forces that are larger than we are. Inescapable. Destructive. We have no choice but to submit to our small fate.
