What It Sounds Like To Approach Jupiter

On July 4th, NASA celebrated successfully placing Juno in near-perfect orbit around Jupiter. It’s the first spacecraft to do so, and will likely be sending back never-before-seen photos and discoveries of the gas giant this August. As Juno approached Jupiter’s magnetosphere in late June, its instruments recorded some interesting sounds. Listen, enjoy, and feel small in the vastness of space.
