Game of Thrones is known for being a pretty steamy show—apparently so much so that some people are choosing it over actual porn. HBO is reportedly at war with streaming giant Pornhub, where clips of sexy scenes from the show keep popping up.

An HBO spokesperson said told Vocativ the channel was “aware of the issue and is in the process of getting material taken down from Pornhub” and that it “aggressively protects its copyrighted material.” A quick Vocativ search of the site found that clips from the show are plentiful, and many have been watched hundreds of thousands of times. They’re not all recent either; a compilation of clips of Emilia Clarke (category: “Small Tits”) which has nearly 270,000 views and has been up for seven months.

The report first showed up in that venerable British tabloid The Sun (which used this as a way to include a still from just about every topless scene Emilia Clarke has ever done for the show in its article). Some clips on Pornhub include nudity but aren’t sex scenes, or even particularly sexual—like Cersei’s Walk of Shame last season, where her naked body is covered in excrement and spit (categorized as “Big Tits” with tags including “enf,” which stands for “embarrassed nude female”).

Pornhub vice president Corey Price told Vocativ that the site is “fully compliant with the law” and “immediately removes” any copyright infringements upon request. The site also offers “content fingerprinting” that blocks clips with the fingerprint from being uploaded to its site.

As the sixth season of the hit series premiered in April, it posted some “insights” about how popular the show was in its searches (and noted that traffic on the site dropped during the show’s season premiere), with the majority of people searching for “Game of Thrones” looking for “sex scenes.” That may have been what raised HBO’s hackles and prompted all of this.

Most of the clips seemed to be of Clarke’s Daenerys Targaryen, but there was one of Melisandre’s topless scene at the beginning of this season. It was categorized as “MILF,” but the scene cut off just before she changed into an extremely old woman, for some reason.
