Hillary Clinton just got trumped. Until Tuesday, Clinton had more Twitter followers than any of the other presidential candidates. But just moments before Clinton took the stage in Las Vegas for the first Democratic debate on Tuesday night, Donald Trump became the leader tweeter of the pack.

Before Trump announced his presidential campaign, Clinton had about 663,000 more followers, but Trump has been slowly gaining on her. By the end of October, Trump was 161,691 followers behind. It appears that Trump’s Tuesday morning announcement that he would be live-Tweeting the debate gave him the boost he needed.

About half an hour before the debate began Trumped matched then passed Clinton.

And the Trump Twitter train shows no sign of slowing.
