If Walmart Employees Formed An Army, It Would Be The World’s Second-Largest

The total number of Walmart employees is larger than any of the world's militaries except China

Walmart is gigantic. (These 14 facts hammer home just how massive a company it is.) But here’s another way to capture its vast size. The Arkansas-based company has 2.2 million employees across the world. As you can see in the below visualization by Dadaviz, if Walmart could rally all its employees behind the same militant cause, it would have enough people to take on just about any world power. Its employee rolls are rivaled only by the number of active members of the Chinese military. It got even more workers than the combined armies of North Korea, Russia and Iran.
