While his father remains quiet — for now — during former FBI Director James Comey’s testimony, Donald Trump Jr. is offering a stinging criticism of the man his dad fired.

Even though President Donald Trump was widely expected to live-tweet Comey’s testimony, he has thus far been silent on his favorite social media platform. Instead, the GOP’s official account and Trump’s son appear to be doing so as his proxy — at least for now, anyway.

The president is notoriously stubborn when it comes to tweeting even when it’s not necessarily in his best interest to do so.

(He went on to retweet that about a half hour later)

The GOP’s official account also picked up on Comey’s “I could be wrong” quote.

Trump’s son later begged for RTs:

The GOP’s official account is going in a similarly sassy direction during the hearing, presenting certain bits of testimony that put Comey’s testimony about Trump in a positive light and ignoring others that don’t.
